Dr Patrick Kwaku Ofori is new CBOD CEO

Senyo Hosi has officially handed over to Dr Patrick Kwaku Ofori, after ten years of service as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the of the Ghana Chamber of Bulk Oil Distributors (CBOD).

Succeeding the founding CEO, Dr Ofori upon his appointment promised to lead the Chamber in pursuit of its vision of overall industry and country growth.

At the Chamber’s handing over ceremony in Accra, the new Chief Executive acknowledged Senyo Hosi’s significant contributions to the industry and the national economy.

“I believe the foundation has been laid, and I am receiving the baton from arguably the best sprinter, to finish the race,” he said, adding “we are going to achieve what you set out to do.”

Dr. Patrick Ofori expressed confidence in his ability to achieve the organization’s goals and promised to carry out the Chamber’s vision and propel the industry to greater heights.

Senyo Hosi advised the new CEO to be bold, open-minded, firm, and fair; urging him to “always pursue the sustainable good.

“It is in this, that you will earn the confidence of the public and the policymakers you need to best serve your members,” he stressed.
